Jurgen Klopp words with Joachim Low give Liverpool hint as Florian Neuhaus transfer reality clear
Jurgen Klopp doesn’t like three-man defences. He made that perfectly clear at the start of Euro 2020, when addressing Germany’s tactics for the tournament.
“It's a bit uncomfortable to judge because every coach has the right to make their own decisions,” the Reds boss Klopp said earlier this month.
"But I would play a back four with this team. I don't like the system very much."
“I could imagine a midfield with Joshua Kimmich, Ilkay Gundogan and Toni Kroos extremely well. Everyone would be in the position in which they feel comfortable.
“Regardless of all tactical aspects, I wish Jogi Löw the title. That would be the greatest culmination of his great time as national team coach and I would be very happy.”
Unfortunately for Klopp, England have left him disappointed as they ran out 2-0 winners over the Germans in the round-of-16 on Tuesday, claiming a first knockout victory over their old foes since the 1966 World Cup final, ending Low’s 15-year stint in charge of Germany in the process.

Kylian Mbappe penalty miss may have handed Liverpool a transfer boost
The ball hadn't even come to a standstill when the jokes began flying around social media quicker than a withering Roy Keane put-down.
Kylian Mbappe's decisive penalty shoot-out miss for France in their dramatic Euro 2020 loss on Monday prompted tongue-in-cheek speculation among Liverpool supporters that the best place for the hurting forward to rehabilitate was at Anfield.
Of course, even the most one-eyed Reds fan will acknowledge it would take a rather unlikely sequence of events for Mbappe to be making the move to Merseyside this summer, even if the 22-year-old is entering the final year of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe, though, could already have impacted on Liverpool's transfer business this summer.
And not in a way he would have intended.
