Simon Jordan lifts lid on Rangers & Celtic directors experience as ex-Crystal Palace owner hails Ibrox derby atmosphere

SIMON JORDAN has lifted the lid on his experience mingling with the Rangers and Celtic directors at Sunday's Old Firm derby.
The business tycoon attended the 1-0 Gers win at Ibrox alongside Scottish broadcaster Jim White as part of a trip with talkSPORT.
The former Crystal Palace owner and White were invited to sit in the directors box in the stadium for the match.
And Jordan has admitted while he tends not to enjoy boardroom matchday experiences due to his previous involvement in the game, he found the Rangers and Celtic directors to be "harmonious" and "friendly".
Speaking on the White & Jordan show this morning, he also made a point of praising the Gers' "phenomenal fans".
The straight-talking entrepreneur said: "When I said to you, as I walked into the stadium, despite having been in boardrooms because that was my position, I've never enjoyed them very much.
"But I actually found they were very friendly. The Rangers directors were very accommodating, it was very interesting to see their stadium.
"He (Stewart Robertson) took us around the trophy room, coming from Palace I'm used to a big trophy room... the size of a broom cupboard. But this was a fabulous trophy room.
