Moussa Sissoko has responded to Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier’s post on Instagram following the defeat to Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea on Sunday.

Tottenham suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday evening.

Although Spurs did well in the first half, Nuno’s side were overpowered by Chelsea after the break.

Dier, who started in central defence, has made a post on Instagram after the defeat to Chelsea, and Sissoko has responded to it.

The 32-year-old France international midfielder joined Spurs from Newcastle in 2016 and left for Watford in the summer transfer window.

Sissoko said, as translated from French: “Come on my soldier.”

Dier, like the rest of the Tottenham players, did not have a particularly great game against Chelsea.

Spurs conceded three goals and were vulnerable on set pieces.

Sissoko has played and trained with Dier, and he will know what the England international is capable of.

Dier, who can also play as a midfielder, is a leader at the back, and he will be determined to get his team back to winning ways.

Tottenham are not in good form at the moment, but it is still very early in the season and fans should stay optimistic.
