Roger Hunt was a ‘gentleman’, who ‘epitomised everything about Liverpool’ and Jurgen Klopp is right about him fitting in to the current team as comparisons with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are made

Roger Hunt 'epitomised everything about Liverpool', insisted Ray Houghton, who likened the Anfield great to Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Liverpool and the football community are mourning the loss of Hunt, who has died, aged 83.
The former striker was a big part of England's World Cup winning side in 1966, scoring three goals in the finals.
Hunt netted plenty of times in his eleven years as a Liverpool player and is the second-highest scorer in the club's history with 285 strikes.
"He's a legend - simple as that," former Liverpool man Houghton told talkSPORT. "That word is overused in football for a variety of reasons but when you look back at what he did for Liverpool and England that word epitomises everything about Sir Roger.
"When John Aldridge went to Liverpool he wanted to wear the same number shirt because he was his hero. He used to watch him on the Kop as a youngster.
"He spoke so highly of Roger Hunt all the time and his achievements at the club and what a team player he was. He epitomised everything about Liverpool Football Club and it's a huge loss to the football family.
"There were so many gentlemen at the club - when you think of Ian Callaghan, no one has a bad word to say about him and it's the same with Roger.
"They loved football, loved training, but most importantly, they loved their club. It was their club."
In his tribute to Hunt, manager Jurgen Klopp said he would've done well in his Liverpool side and Houghton concurred with the manager's sentiments.
"Look at Mane and Salah, any of those lads," Houghton added. "Their job is to put on that shirt, play with pride, give it 100 per cent every training session and game they go into.
"They're the demands that Liverpool supporters put on you. They [Mane and Salah] do it constantly and Roger certainly did that as well."
