Manchester United make Ole Gunnar Solskjaer future decision as Liverpool clash looms
Pressure is mounting on Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of next weekend's clash with Liverpool.
According to The Athletic, however, Solskjaer will not be sacked in the immediate future.
This means he'll be in the dugout when the Reds travel to Old Trafford next weekend.

Why Mohamed Salah was invited to London ceremony by Prince William
Liverpool's Mohamed Salah is in London this evening for the inaugural Earthshot Prize awards ceremony at Alexandra Palace.
The Earthshot Prize is a prestigious global environment award that was launched by Prince William and Sir David Attenborough last year.
Salah was chosen alongside a number of celebrities to present an award, along with the Duchess of Cambridge, Emma Thompson, Emma Watson and David Oyelowo.

Liverpool send triple message to critics as Roberto Firmino change pays off
The band were back together at the place it all started for them on Saturday, writes Ian Doyle.
And if Liverpool's five-star romp against Watford proved anything, it's that reports of the demise of their famed attacking trio have been greatly exaggerated.
It wasn't long ago Roberto Firmino was being put out to pasture by an increasing number of observers, with Sadio Mane expected to follow suit.
Which left Mohamed Salah, with the ongoing failure to agree a new contract indicating to those same people he wasn't happy with matters at Anfield.
Saturday, though, saw the latest evidence of how all of the above is gloriously, utterly incorrect.

Danny Rose left bewildered as Trent Alexander-Arnold reaction to Mohamed Salah spotted
There are plenty of moments you may not have spotted during Liverpool's Premier League win at Watford on Saturday.
Mohamed Salah is Danny Rose's thorn, Trent Alexander-Arnold couldn't believe what he'd witnessed and Jurgen Klopp displayed his respect for Claudio Ranieri.

Liverpool send huge Premier League warning
A beaming Jurgen Klopp will rarely have enjoyed a 12.30 kick-off as much, writes Paul Gorst.
The Liverpool boss has made no bones about his distaste for the first slot of the weekend's fixtures upon the return from international football over his six years at Anfield.
And Watford's lack of flexibility in agreeing to the Reds' proposal of moving the game back only darkened the mood of the manager, who was without Brazil stars Alisson Becker and Fabinho as a result of the scheduling conflicts.
As the hosts prepared to begin the Claudio Ranieri era, the plucky underdogs with the 'new manager bounce' narratives were ready to be written by some.
But all that angst on display in Friday's terse pre-match press conference was washed away at Vicarage Road as Liverpool turned in an utterly dominant display to regain top spot in the Premier League, if only perhaps temporarily.
At times of this 5-0 rout, it was free-flowing and breath-taking. It was as close to perfect as it is likely to be all season.

Roberto Firmino gives Jurgen Klopp what he wanted
There was no way Roberto Firmino was missing this opportunity, writes Ian Doyle.
The ball had barely ruffled the back of the Watford net when the forward, making his 250th Liverpool start, grabbed it with both hands and tucked it safely under his shirt before racing off to celebrate.
Seconds later, the final whistle meant the matchball was Firmino’s to keep, traditional reward for only a second hat-trick of his Liverpool career.
And having endured an injury-hampered start to the campaign, five goals in his last three outings suggests the Brazilian is now primed to challenge Diogo Jota for the centre forward role - exactly the competition Jurgen Klopp has been keen to promote.
While this was in many ways Firmino of old – the hapless home defence couldn’t get a grip on his continued menace when dropping in between the lines – that his goals could all be regarded the finishes of a traditional number nine will have proven particularly satisfying.

Jurgen Klopp dismisses Mohamed Salah and Lionel Messi comparison
Jurgen Klopp has dismissed comparisons between Mohamed Salah and Lionel Messi – and detailed how Liverpool’s players knew they’d witnessed another special moment from the Egyptian.
Salah produced his latest goal-of-the-season contender with an outrageous individual effort in the Reds’ 5-0 Premier League win at Watford on Saturday.
The forward’s outstanding overall display prompted fresh talk of him now surpassing the likes of Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski as the best player in the world.
But when asked if Salah's performances were reminiscent of Messi, Klopp said: “He looks like Mo actually!"

Ousmane Dembele 'offered' to Liverpool
Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele has reportedly been "offered" to Liverpool, among several other clubs.
Reports in Spain claim that Dembele’s agent has offered his client to the Reds, as well as Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG, and Juventus.
The 24-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in the summer that has so far ruled him out this season, but he only has one year left on his deal.
Mundo Deportivo reports that should Dembele refuse to extend his stay with Barcelona then he will be made to sit on the side-lines until his current contract expires.

Liverpool rival AC Milan for Noa Lang
Liverpool are reportedly one of several clubs interested in Club Brugge winger Noa Lang.
The 22-year-old is claimed to be a target for the Reds, who is also on both Arsenal and AC Milan’s radar, according to Calciomercato.
The Italian outlet claim that Lang would be available for €25m, though a move at the end of the season is said to be more likely.
Lang has scored three and assisted five in 11 league games for the Belgian side this season.

Mohamed Salah linked with Eden Hazard-plus-cash swap deal
Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a shock player-plus-cash swap deal for Mohamed Salah, involving Eden Hazard.
Salah has been in stunning form for Liverpool this season but his ongoing contract negotiations has alerted the Spanish club to his situation, according to journalist Ekrem Konur, as reported by ESPN.
Having joined Real Madrid in 2019, Hazard has failed to replicate his Chesea form at the Bernabeu and has been linked with a move away.
The report claims that the Reds plan to offer Salah a new £500,000-a-week deal, but Real are prepared to step in if an agreement cannot be reached.
