Wolverhampton Wanderers will be without Willy Boly for tomorrow’s match at Leeds United, Bruno Lage has revealed.

Boly has picked up an injury and hasn’t been able to train in the build-up to Saturday’s clash at Elland Road.

Issuing his latest injury bulletin from Wolves' training ground, Lage said: “One guy will be out of the game for sure. Boly has stayed all week out with some problems, so he’s not going to be involved in the game.”

The Ivory Coast international hasn’t started a Premier League game this season due to the form of Max Kilman, Conor Coady and Romain Saiss.

Lage will be boosted by the return of Portuguese forward Francisco Trincao, who has recovered from Covid-19 and resumed training this week.

“Trincao has started with the team, he’s been training all week so that’s good news for us,” Lage said.

There is still no return date for Pedro Neto after the winger returned to Portugal to continue his recovery from his knee injury.

Neto hasn’t played since April, and Lage admitted earlier this season that the 21-year-old, who scooped Wolves’ player of the year award last term, had suffered a setback in his recovery.

Giving the latest update on Neto, Lage said: “All I know is from what the doctor said to me, he will travel next week to Portugal to work with Pedro and then after that maybe we’ll have some news on how much longer he’ll need to recover.”
