Everton hold 'serious interest' in Aleksandr Golovin
Monaco midfielder Aleksandr Golovin is attracting interest from Everton, according to reports in Russia.
The 25-year-old, who joined the French side in 2018, has registered three goals and three assists in 13 games across all competitions this season.
The Blues have been linked with making a move for Golovin by Russian outlet Championat, as reported by Inside Futbol, who say they have spoken to a source close to the potential deal.
The source is quoted as saying: “The Premier League club is showing serious interest in the Russian midfielder. So far, everything is at an initial stage.”

Duncan Ferguson might be facing difficult Everton decision
Duncan Ferguson, the manager…writes Chris Beesley.
Evertonians loved it when the Gwladys Street idol had a short stint as the Blues caretaker boss in 2019 – but what about on a long-term basis?
This week Ferguson emerged as a surprise contender for the managerial vacancy at Stockport County with BetVictor declaring on Friday that he was 5/1 fourth favourite to take the reins at the National League club.
When it came to visions of ‘Big Dunc’ taking charge in the future at a ground by the banks of the Mersey, this is not the scenario that many would have come up with.

Everton compete with AC Milan for Brazilian striker
Everton are claimed to be battling with AC Milan and Manchester City for Brazilian striker Yuri Alberto.
The 20-year-old has scored 11 league goals for Internacional this season and is allegedly on the Blues’ radar.
However, Torcedores.com reports that Milan already have a verbal agreement with Alberto and are attempting to settle on a fee for the player.
The Brazilian outlet state that Interncional want at least €20m for the forward, with the Italian club aiming to sign him in January.

Everton 'keeping tabs' on Nottingham Forest's Brennan Johnson
Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson is in high demand, with Everton one of several clubs interested according to reports.
The 20-year-old has impressed for Forest this season, scoring three and registering three assists, with talks believed to be underway over a new contract.
However, Football League World reports that the Blues are monitoring the versatile forward - along with fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle, Brighton, Southampton and Crystal Palace.
Brentford also tried to sign Johnson in the summer transfer window, who registered 22 combined goals and assists while on loan at Lincoln City last season.

Everton 'quite keen' on Van de Beek move in January
Everton have been backed to make another move for Donny van de Beek in the January transfer window.
The Blues attempted to get a late loan deal over the line this summer, but were not able to reach an agreement with Manchester United.
However, the Netherlands international has not managed to force his way into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side - and ESPN journalist Mark Ogden has backed the Toffees to return for the 24-year-old.
Read Everton report that Ogden told Fabrizo Romano’s Here We Go podcast:
“I think when January comes Everton are quite keen to take Van de Beek. But it depends. If a new manager comes in, he might want to say to Van de Beek: ‘I’m going to give you a chance’. So everything depends on who the manager is.”

Jean-Luc Vasseur appointed Everton Women manager
Everton Women have appointed Jean-Luc Vasseur as the club’s new manager following Willie Kirk’s departure earlier this month.
Kirk left his position at the club following a disappointing start to the season after a summer of investment which saw nine new players join the Blues.
Vasseur joins Everton with a glittering CV having previously led Olympique Lyonnais Feminine to Champions League glory.
The Frenchman also led his former club to the French league title, Coupe de France, Trophée des Championnes and Women’s International Champions Cup.
