Lyon docked one point in Ligue 1 after Marseille star Dimitri Payet was hit by a bottle in abandoned fixture

Lyon have had one point docked in Ligue 1 after their clash with Marseille was abandoned last month after descending into chaos.
Dimitri Payet was targeted by Lyon fans whilst trying to take a corner kick and struck by a bottle on what was branded a dark evening for football.
The 34-year-old left the pitch with an ice pack on his head, while it's been claimed the incident left him 'psychologically affected'.
Referee, Ruddy Buquet, immediately sent both teams back to the dressing room and two hours later, he decided to suspend the match.
Olympique Lyonnais' clash with Marseille will be rescheduled behind closed doors, with no date yet decided.
The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) called the incident a 'cowardly attack'.
"Any act of violence against a player, especially a major player, exposes the club responsible to a loss of points," said Sebastien Deneux, the president of the LFP disciplinary committee, in a statement.
"The committee also took into consideration the actions of the Lyon club immediately after the incidents.
"I would like to remind you that the Disciplinary Committee cannot take sanctions against fans directly, but is there to judge the responsibility of the clubs."
The supporter who threw the bottle has been identified, receiving a suspended six-month jail sentence and has been banned from attending Lyon's Groupama Stadium for another five years.
