Dele Alli up for sale in January as he’s not in Antonio Conte’s plans at Tottenham

Dele Alli could be on his way put of the door at Tottenham Hotspur with the Englishman bot being in Antonio Conte's plans, and Daniel Levy ready to give the green light

Dele Alli's Tottenham career could finally be coming to an end as new boss Antonio Conte doesn't see the midfielder in his plans.

Alli had played a bit-part role for Tottenham under Jose Mourinho after being a mainstay in the side under Mauricio Pochettino.

The Englishman had come close to leaving Spurs last winter, when PSG and Pochettino came calling, but he stayed put.

Alli found himself back in the side under Nuno Espirito Santo - but has again fallen out of favour in North London.

And The Athletic are reporting that Alli's time at Spurs could be finally coming to an end.

However, Alli's departure is most likely to be on a temporary basis.

The 25-year-old is currently under contract until 2024, and potential suitors for his signature may not be willing to pay the high price having a long contract demands.

But Daniel Levy is still expected to give the green light for Alli's departure.

It was Levy that blocked Alli's move to PSG last year when he didn't want to lose the midfielder.

Alli has played a bit-part role recently

He has started just five Premier League matches this campaign, all of them coming under Nuno, and Conte is open to allowing him to move on.

Under Conte, Alli has made just one Premier League appearance, off the bench against Leeds United.
