Marouane Fellaini's incredible China wage sees him earn more than Pogba and Auba

Marouane Fellaini has been earning a fortune since swapping Manchester United for the Chinese Super League - earning more than Premier League stars Paul Pogba and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Marouane Fellaini may have earned a super sub tag during his time under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United - but he has had the last laugh after becoming one of the highest earning players on the planet.


The ex-Everton and United midfielder joined Shandong Luneng back in 2019, going on to become one of the best performing players in the league.


Across just 53 fixtures the ex-Belgium international has smashed home 22 goals, winning both the league and cup last season while earning and estimated £326,000 per week.


Salary Sport say that Fellaini earns that enormous pay packet in China, which works out to an extraordinary £18,824,000-per-year, bringing his net worth to £50,804,000.

Back in the Premier League, Pogba is thought to be earning £290,000-per-week at United, working out at £15,062,000-per-year, which is £3,762,000 less than his former colleague.


Aubameyang is said to be on £350,000-per-week at Arsenal, which is closer to the wage of Fellaini, seeing him earn £18,200,000-per-year, and only £624,000 less than Fellaini.

Fellaini, who was been spotted spending his Chinese Super League riches in style on the beaches of St Barts earlier in the week has a contract until December of 2025.

Fellaini is a well known figure in English football thanks 12 consecutive seasons in the division having joined Everton from Standard Liege in 2008.

The midfielder smashed home 11 league goals during the 2012/13 season to attract the interest of United, who subsequently paid £27.5million for his services in a deadline day deal, where he spent five seasons.

Speaking to Telefoot over decision to move to China, he said: "I think it was the right time to leave.

"It had been 10-and-a-half years since I arrived in England. I had beautiful seasons. Now I wanted a new challenge and a new adventure."
