Senegal face Cape Verde in the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday with the Senegalese the clear favourites to progress to the last eight of the competition.
Aliou Cisse's side have scored just one goal in the tournament but are yet to concede and made it through to the knockout stages as winners of Group B.
Cape Verde for their part made it through as one of the best third-placed sides having finished behind Cameroon and Burkina Faso in their group, and the tiny island nation are huge outsiders against one of the continent's powerhouses.
Senegal vs Cape Verde latest odds
These two sides met in a friendly in June last year with Senegal winning 2-0 and another victory for the Lions of Teranga can be backed at 13/20 (1.65) with bet365.
Cape Verde meanwhile have shown themselves capable of holding their own against the continent's biggest sides, drawing with Cameroon in the group stage while also holding Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in World Cup qualifying back in November.
A victory for the islanders is priced at 6/1 (7.00) with the draw offered at 23/10 (3.30).
Senegal vs Cape Verde first goalscorer
Senegal's only goal of the tournament so far came from the penalty spot in injury time at the end of their opening match against Zimbabwe.
The spot-kick was converted by Liverpool's Sadio Mane and the forward is available at 11/4 (3.75) to net the first goal of the game on Tuesday.
Elsewhere in the market, Cagliari striker Keita Balde is offered at 11/2 (6.50) while the shortest priced Cape Verde player to score first is striker Vagner at 12/1 (13.00).
Senegal vs Cape Verde preview
Goals have been in short supply in matches involving these two sides at the tournament so far and Tuesday's clash is likely to be another tight affair.
Senegal boast in theory some of the best attacking players in the competition yet that talent has not been translated into goals, with their only strike in 270 minutes of action coming from the penalty spot.
A solid defence, however, has meant they have been able to progress and, if they can keep things tight once more against their island neighbours, they should be able to qualify for the next stage of a competition they are yet to win.
Cape Verde for their part are likely to try and defend resolutely, and try and break with pace, and backing another low-scoring game makes plenty of sense.
