Anthony Elanga and Scott McTominay get big upgrades in latest Man United FIFA 22 update

Manchester United have received a handful of changes in the latest FIFA 22 squad update, with Anthony Elanga and Scott McTominay both upgraded among the Reds squad.

Manchester United duo Anthony Elanga and Scott McTominay have both been upgraded in the latest FIFA 22 squad update after some strong performances in recent weeks.

After making a brief appearance off the bench against Wolves on January 3, Elanga has now started the last three consecutive games for United, grabbing one goal in that time and impressing the United faithful.

Since December, McTominay seems to have hit his top form, with the midfielder a regular in Ralf Rangnick's ever-changing midfield, grabbing Man of the Match and the winning goal in the FA Cup Third Round tie versus Aston Villa.

After two wins from their last two Premier League games, United have risen to fourth in the Premier League after a vital win over West Ham, and the Reds now sit nine points behind third place Chelsea with two games in hand.

Along with Elanga and McTominay, a couple of United players have received minor upgrades on FIFA 22, whilst one player has seen his rating decrease.

The latest FIFA 22 squad update was released on January 27, 2022, with fellow Premier League clubs Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City also receiving changes to their ratings based on their seasons so far.

The squad update is available to download now on all platforms including PC, Xbox and PlayStation.

His new overall rating is 68 out of 99 whilst his potential rating has increased to 84 out of 99, making him one of United's hottest prospects in the game.

The Swedish winger also received upgrades to his Finishing (65-66), Heading Accuracy (58-65), Short Passing (60-63, Dribbling (70-72), Ball Control (66-68), Acceleration (83-86), Sprint Speed (81-82), Stamina (61-64) and Penalties (50-56).

Paul Pogba

It's been a tough season for the midfielder after registering seven assists in his first four games of the season, with EA handing the Frenchman a -1 to his overall and potential rating, dropping from 87 to 86.

Pogba also saw downgrades to his Reactions (83-82), Stamina (76-74) and Penalties (81-80) in what was his second set of downgrades in FIFA 22.

The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Diogo Dalot received minimal upgrades to their in-game stats, whilst Edinson Cavani, Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata were handed minimal downgrades.
