Mauro Icardi has 'unfollowed his wife and agent Wanda Nara' on Instagram before later deleting his account entirely.
The couple have been married since 2014, having got together after model Nara had an affair with Icardi while married to his former team-mate Maxi Lopez.
It has been a turbulent couple of months for the pair, with Nara going on a social media rant accusing Icardi of cheating on her and unfollowing him on Instagram.
Although they later reconciled, with Icardi reportedly signing a contract with Nara in order to save their marriage, their relationship may now be on the rocks again.
German outlet Bild reports that prior to deleting his Instagram account, Icardi had unfollowed Nara and removed her from his profile picture.
The Argentine striker had just under eight million followers on the site but his account is no longer accessible for fans.
However, his Twitter account is still active, with his profile picture currently being a picture of him playing for his country.
Perhaps significant is the fact that at present he only follows one other account on Twitter, that of his wife Wanda, although she does not follow him back.

The couple have been married for over seven years after tying the knot back in 2014 and have two children together, but their relationship has been far from smooth.
Having started out by having an affair with each other while Nara was still married to Icardi's former Sampdoria team-mate Lopez.
Icardi was then accused of having an affair of his own last year when Nara went on a wild social media rant and unfollowed him on Instagram.
This led to the 28-year-old being absent from Paris Saint-Germain training as he publicly begged Nara for forgiveness on his own Instagram account.
They later reconciled, with Icardi reportedly signing a contract with Nara, who is also his agent, in order to save their marriage.
It is currently unknown what has caused Icardi's latest meltdown on social media, with his Instagram account currently still inactive.
