Ex-Barça pres. Bartomeu fights back against forensic investigation

The former president wants a copy of the report and for it to be made available to members
Former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has requested a copy of the club's forensic report which was provided to the prosecutor's office in the city last week pending further action.
The report, drawn up after a forensic analysis of the club's accounts, referred to his management of the club and suggested several financial crimes have been committed.
Bartomeu now wants to study that report to see if he will launch legal action of his own.

Bartomeu released a statement on Wednesday explaining his reason for taking this action.
"Given the content, assessments and opinions expressed by the current FC Barcelona board at the press conference on Tuesday, as former president of FC Barcelona I want to express the most absolute disagreement and rejection, as well as regret that the conclusions of the forensic analysis have not been made public for all the club's," he wrote.
"It must be remembered that, through a letter addressed to the president, Joan Laporta, on August 13, 2021, the request that the Executive Summary of the Due Diligence conclusions be made known was already transmitted to him.
"Now, in addition to reiterating that the statements regarding the period of our management do not conform to the truth, as former president of the board of directors, a letter has been sent to the Provincial Prosecutor's Office in which the will to put ourselves at the full disposal of this Prosecutor's Office, to collaborate in everything that is necessary, as well as the express request that we be given the transfer of the documentation delivered by the FC Barcelona board."
