West Brom fans split amid Steve Bruce appointment rumours
West Bromwich Albion have parted ways with Valerien Ismael and are divided regarding the recent rumours linking Steve Bruce to the vacancy
West Bromwich Albion have parted ways with Valerien Ismael, after just six months of being in the role and the club currently sitting at fifth in the Championship.
Albion are coming off back-to-back defeats to both Millwall and Preston North End and are in need of a manager that can come in and rejuvenate their season. Things have fallen flat at the Hawthorns, with the team being the lowest scorers amongst the top six, putting them at risk of falling outside the playoff places.
Steve Bruce is favourite to take the reigns at the club, with current odds standing at 1/8 with Sky Bet. Albions fans have since had their say on the links, to which a portion of the fanbase seem far from impressed with.
JayneWBA: Noooooooo!
Lee Avery: I think this is a knee jerk and wrong decision. Might work for the rest of the season but no longer than that.
Alan Cox: He’s a decent guy but not for us, think he has run out of steam from too many sackings.
Nick Bebb: I’m sickened at the thought of this
Mark Slater: Decent shout if its until end of the season. Still think all this should've happened post Preston game really. Get him in until end of season then start again in the summer, the club also should put up half the squad for sale too. Got too many players way past their prime now! It's easy to see!

Mick Dell: I don’t think he can do any worse than the last one give the man a chance
John Brockington: Steve Bruce is an upgrade from the last manager.
Simon Travis: Predictions. Boring defensive football. You won’t see a single one of our players ever go past an opponent with the ball. He won’t be there start of next season.
Jason Hughes: Look at Bruce on Wikipedia - it’s all after a long run of poor form - fired.
Joseph Curley: All I want for the rest of the season is a manager that comes in gets us playing football the right way, forget about promotion it ain’t happening this year but just get the fans smiling again.
Peter Carey: Let’s avoid the same old names and managerial roundabout and go for someone who’s keen. May not be proven in this league but Graham Potter wasn’t either.
