Micah Richards found himself drenched in beer as he danced with Kidderminster Harrier fans ahead of their monumental FA Cup tie with West Ham on Saturday lunchtime

Kidderminster Harriers were making the most of their big day out when they covered Micah Richards with beer on Saturday morning.

Sixth-tier Kidderminster were facing Premier League side West Ham in the fourth round of the FA Cup.


Richards had been interviewing the fans ahead of the clash when he joined in a chant with the Kidderminster faithful.


However, the resulting scenes led to the former Manchester City star having beer poured down his back as he laughed along with the non-league fans.

Richards then returned to the studio for the build-up to the fourth round clash on Saturday lunchtime.

Kidderminster took an early lead against the Hammers when Alex Penny capitalised on a set-piece.

Penny showed incredible composure to adjust his body and turn the ball past Alfonso Areola in the West Ham goal.

The strike sparked pandemonium at the Aggborough Stadium as the right-back wheeled away to celebrate.

Throughout the game, Kidderminster fans kept the volume sky high, and every tackle, block, and clearance were celebrated as if it was a goal in its own right.

However, Declan Rice played the role of heartbreaker when he danced around the defence to fire the Hammers level.

Kidderminster were within touching distance of dumping the Premier League side out of the competition.
