Declan Rice does Michael Jackson dance after breaking Kidderminster hearts in dying moments of FA Cup tie, as West Ham legend says price tag will go up

Like Carlos Vinicius celebrating in the style of Kylian Mbappe against non-league Marine, Declan Rice also went for it after scoring against Kidderminster.

But while ex-Tottenham man Vinicius was compounding misery, West Ham's Rice was breaking hearts in the FA Cup.

The England midfielder, brought on to save the Hammers against the sixth-tier side, scored a brilliant individual goal in the dying moments to take the clash to extra-time, before Jarrod Bowen eventually won the game for the Premier League outfit.

With Kidderminster fans dreaming of a famous upset, they were instead forced to watch Rice do his best Michael Jackson impression in front of the jubilant travelling fans, adding insult to injury.

On commentary for talkSPORT, Hammers legend Alvin Martin suggested the goal once again showed how important Rice is for his side - and it might add to his summer price tag, with a number of clubs circling.

Martin said: “What a goal. It might have been a substandard performance by West Ham, but that was a moment of class from Declan Rice.

“He took the game by scruff of the neck, a quality goal by a quality player when it was needed most.

“You can’t help but feel for the Kidderminster supporters, who have sunk. They were seconds away from round five.

“Well done to David Moyes for putting him on the pitch. He shouldn’t have had to, but that’s testament to how well Kiddermister played.

“West Ham have had to rely on an individual. West Ham were in desperate trouble, but he saved them.

“It will add a few more millions to his price tag, that’s for sure.”
