Josip Juranovic to miss Celtic Scottish Cup clash as Yosuke Ideguchi set for return

The Croatia international was an absentee during the 3-2 win over Aberdeen but he is expected to be be back soon.

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has revealed Josip Juranovic will miss Sunday's Scottish Cup clash with Raith Rovers.


The Croatia international was an absentee during the 3-2 win over Aberdeen but he is expected to be be back for the Europa Conference League playoff with Bodo/Glimt.


Juranovic has been missing due to illness but there's better news on Yosukue Ideguchi.


The rampaging right-back has been in fine form but deputy Anthony Ralston has filled in impressively in the wins over Motherwell and Aberdeen.


The Japanese midfielder is in contention to feature against Raith Rovers and hasn't played since he suffered an ankle injury during a crunching tackle against Alloa in the last round.

Postecoglou has revealed all his players who featured against Aberdeen have come through unscathed as they get set to host John McGlynn's side.

The Hoops already swept aside the Kirkcaldy side in the League Cup earlier this season.

Celtic have the Premier Sports Cup in the bag and are top of the Premiership as they also compete in two other Cup tournaments.
