Manchester United reportedly add Bayer Leverkusen's Patrik Schick to their list of attacking targets for the summer transfer window.

Manchester United have reportedly added Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick to their list of summer transfer targets.

Interim manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that the Red Devils will attempt to sign a new number nine in the summer, with Edinson Cavani set to leave and Cristiano Ronaldo's future also uncertain.

Erling Braut Haaland and Alexander Isak are thought to be two of the club's main targets, while a move for Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez has also been mooted.

Now, the Daily Mail claims that Schick - who rose to prominence with five goals for the Czech Republic at Euro 2020 - is also under consideration by Old Trafford chiefs.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a stellar Bundesliga campaign with Leverkusen, racking up 18 goals in as many top-flight appearances to sit second in the top scorer charts behind Robert Lewandowski.

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Barcelona have previously been credited with an interest in Schick, who recently played down talk of a possible move to the Premier League.

The former Roma man has registered a total of 31 goals in 58 games for Leverkusen since arriving in 2020 and is tied down to the Bundesliga side until 2025.
