Sex-obsessed Brazil legend Romario has new girlfriend 25 years younger than him

Romario is now dating an influencer almost half his age, one month after the former Brazil forward bragged about having sex before matches during his playing career

Brazil legend Romario has revealed he is dating a pretty influencer 25 years his junior.

The 56-year-old, who wowed the crowds with an impressive beach foot-volley doubles match in December against soccer icon Ronaldinho, posted a photo of himself with his arms round 31-year-old blonde Marcelle Ceolin at a rap festival.

The snap confirming the pair were dating came after he shared a picture of himself alongside the fashion graduate at a meal with friends.

Over the weekend Marcelle and famous womaniser Romario, who separated from his wife Monica Santoro in 1995, were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner at a rooftop restaurant.

Rio de Janeiro-born Romario, 56 last month, has six children from different relationships including a son born from an extra-matrimonial affair with an actress while he was still with his second wife Daniele Favato.

The striker, one of the most clinical finishers ever seen in football, recognised 19-year-old Raphael Faria as his son after DNA tests.

Romario was accused by former Brazil teammate Ronaldo recently of taking him partying until 5am to tire him out and steal his spot in the starting XI.

He revealed in May 2018 he had recommended “lots of sex” to Man City striker Gabriel Jesus, three months away from becoming a father for the first time with girlfriend Raiane Lima, ahead of that year's World Cup.

Where does Romario rank amongst the great Brazilian strikers? Let us know in the comments section below.

Last month he claimed sex was always “f***ing good” for him and he would sleep with his wife right before matches.

Writing for the Players’ Tribune he said: “Sometimes on match day I would stay at home, away from the rest of the team. If I’d wake up horny, I’d have sex with my wife and then go to the game.

“On the pitch, it made me feel calmer and lighter.”

Romario and his new squeeze are thought to have been seeing each for several months in secret before their decision to go public with their relationship in recent days. He has already introduced Marcelle to some of his children.

It was not immediately clear today (Tuesday) how they had met.

In December he and a grey-haired Ronaldinho showed they’ve lost none of the sublime skills that helped them become the best footballers of their generation as they enjoyed themselves at a Rio de Janeiro beach tournament.

The retired players wowed the crowds with their impressive display and showed their appreciation for each other with regular high fives and hugs despite being rivals.
