Sex-obsessed Romario and new girlfriend 25 years younger enjoy luxury holiday together

Romario, who loves scoring more than anyone on the planet, has been enjoying his time with new girlfriend Marcelle Ceolin, with the pair lapping up the sun and sharing snaps with their followers

Brazil soccer legend Romario has whisked his new girlfriend off to an Atlantic Ocean paradise for their first holiday together since it emerged they were dating despite their 25-year age difference.

Pretty blonde Marcelle Ceolin, 31, was topping up her tan in a bikini today just hours after touching down on beautiful Fernando de Noronha 220 miles of Brazil’s north-east coast with her famous 56-year-old boyfriend.

The influencer posed for selfie snaps with Romario, who has already introduced her to some of his children, and admitted her “soul was happy” as they lapped up the archipelago’s fantastic views.

And Marcelle, whose relationship with the footballer-turned-politician only became public when they confessed they were dating last week on social media, let her new man film her as a giant wave washed over her in a salt-water pool by a glorious white sand beach.

As she touched down for her first visit to Fernando de Noronha, where an eight-year-old girl was attacked by a shark last month, Marcelle revealed part of the reason she and Romario had headed there was to see a “special friend” get married.

She wrote alongside a gorgeous picture with Romario with the setting sun and the cliff-top landmark Remedios Fort in the background: “You shine differently when you soul is happy” followed by a heart emoji.

Footage she went on to post on her Instagram Stories showed her and famous partner taking part in the wedding ceremony at a small church before enjoying themselves at a reception overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Rio de Janeiro-born Romario, the fourth-highest goalscorer for the Brazil national team behind Pele, Neymar and Ronaldo, revealed he was dating Marcelle just over a week ago when he published a photo of them cuddling at a rap festival.

The snap confirming the pair were an item came after he shared a picture of himself alongside the fashion graduate at a meal with friends.

Earlier this month Marcelle and famous womaniser Romario, who separated from his wife Monica Santoro in 1995, were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner at a rooftop restaurant.

The retired footballer’s last girlfriend before his current squeeze was a student 31 years younger than him - 22-year-old student Ana Karoline Nazario.

The paradise archipelago where Romario and his girlfriend are now relaxing consists of 21 island and islets, although only the main island where they are staying is inhabited.

It was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001 by UNESCO because of its importance as a feeding ground for tuna and sharks.

Ex-Brazilian surfer Sergio Noronha needed 32 stitches to an arm wound in January last year after being bitten by a shark off Cacimba de Padre beach on Fernando de Noronha.

Earlier this month it was confirmed an eight-year-old girl had to have her right leg amputated after being attacked by a shark in a different part of the island at the end of January.

She was airlifted to a hospital in the north-east Brazilian city of Recife for an operation following the drama.

The shark attacks haven’t deterred wealthy holidaymakers picking the island, which puts a cap on the number of visitors and is regarded as the most exclusive beach destination in South American.

Romario, full name Romario de Souza Faria, was named in the FIFA 100 list of the world’s greatest living players in 2004. He started his political career in 2010, when he was elected deputy for the Brazilian Socialist Party. He was then elected senator in 2014 before switching his allegiance to another left-wing party in 2017.

In December he and a grey-haired Ronaldinho showed they’ve lost none of the sublime skills that helped them become the best footballers of their generation as they enjoyed themselves at a Rio de Janeiro beach tournament.

Romario, who celebrated his 56th birthday last month, has six children from different relationships including a son born from an extra-matrimonial affair with an actress while he was still with his second wife Daniele Favato.

The striker, one of the most clinical finishers ever seen in football, recognised 19-year-old Raphael Faria as his son after DNA tests.

Romario was accused by former Brazil teammate Ronaldo recently of taking him partying until 5am to tire him out and steal his spot in the starting XI.

He revealed in May 2018 he had recommended “lots of sex” to Man City striker Gabriel Jesus, three months away from becoming a father for the first time with girlfriend Raiane Lima, ahead of that year's World Cup.

Last month he claimed sex was always “f***ing good” for him and he would sleep with his wife right before matches.

Writing for the Players’ Tribune he said: “Sometimes on match day I would stay at home, away from the rest of the team. If I’d wake up horny, I’d have sex with my wife and then go to the game. On the pitch, it made me feel calmer and lighter.”
