Jack Wilshere shows off radical new haircut and says he is now 'ready for Scandinavia'
Jack Wilshere has opted for a bold new look following his surprise transfer to Danish outfit AGF Aarhus - telling his Instagram followers that he is now "Scandinavian ready"
Jack Wilshere has marked his surprise transfer to Denmark by dyeing his hair bleach blonde and telling his Instagram followers that he is now "Scandinavian ready".
The 30-year-old former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder accepted an offer from Danish Superliga outfit AGF Aarhus following nine months without a club after leaving Bournemouth.
Wilshere had spent months training with the Gunners in the bid to stay fit, and has moved abroad despite Mikel Arteta saying he could still cut it in the Premier League.
As well as his fresh start on the pitch, Wilshere has a fresh look off of it having followed in the footsteps of Phil Foden by bleaching his hair.
He wrote on Instagram: "Scandinavian ready. Thanks to @hairbymichaels."
Wilshere made his debut for Aarhus last week - having come off the bench in the 90th minute in a match that had 15 minutes of additional time.
Despite losing 3-2 to Vejle BK after a winner in the 100th minute, he remains confident that they will reach the top six before the division splits into two.

Earlier in the week, Wilshere had also hailed Aarhus supporters as the best he has seen.
He told talkSPORT on Thursday (February 3): "Our fans, I will say they are the best I’ve ever seen. In the warm up they were there singing right from the warm-up.
"They had 2,500 fans there. We’ve got four more games left and then the league gets split in half and you play in the mini-league.
"The top half for Europe and the bottom for relegation. We’ve got four games to get in the top six and we’re going to do it."
