Rangers star Steven Davis rolls back the years with winning goal in friendly against Luxembourg

Davis' goal gave his side the lead with less than 10 minutes to go before Gavin Whyte made it a double to confirm the 3-1 scoreline.

It was the veteran's 13th goal for the national side as he continues to add to his record breaking international career after becoming the most capped British player of all time last year.

It was Peter Shilton who previously held the record with 125 England caps to his name.

But Davis continues to break away from the pack and cement his position at the top of the list.

His goal tonight has shown Gers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst he still has the quality in his locker as well.

The 37-year-old has only played five minutes of football for the Scottish champions since the start of the year.

Van Bronckhorst has preferred John Lundstram, Glen Kamara and Ryan Jack in the holding midfield position and this has seen the Irishman drop out of the side.

New signings Aaron Ramsey and James Sands have also been ahead of Davis in the pecking order as well.

But this goal tonight shows that the Rangers star still has what it takes to dig out a result for his side after claiming yet another goal on the international stage.

Meanwhile, Rangers fans are convinced that a fellow supporter received next season's strip by mistake.

One Gers fan went on social media to express their confusion after receiving the wrong strip in the post after ordering the Legend's strip online.

The user posted a picture of the strip on Facebook and asked other supporters if they knew what the kit was.

The Facebook post asked: "Anyone ordered the legend's top and got this or anyone know what top it is?"

This quickly prompted the Ibrox faithful to question the authenticity of the strip as many believed it's the top that the Scottish champions will wear next season.

It's clear that the design is different to the Legend's shirt due to the round collar in the one that was delivered in the post.

The strip also displays the Sportemon Go Logo which will be added to the kits for the 22/23 season after the club announced a two-year partnership with the tokenised sports platform.
