Aston Villa have been dealt another injury blow with Lucas Digne once again withdrawn in the opening few minutes of a Premier League fixture. The Frenchman, who was forced off at West Ham just eight minutes in, can no longer continue here at Molineux with Villa 1-0 down courtesy of a sixth-minute Jonny goal.

Digne pulled up on the halfway line with Steven Gerrard quick to bring on Ashley Young who's slotted in at left-back. Digne completed 90 minutes on his return from injury against France in midweek but appears to have picked up the same hamstring issue.

Villa, meanwhile, are really struggling here against Wolves and look shaky at the back with Daniel Podence and Fabio Silva causing all kinds of problems.

Prior to kick-off, Gerrard made three changes and drafted in Digne, Leon Bailey and Morgan Sanson. Danny Ings is not involved today while, in terms of system, Villa started in a 4-3-1-2 system with Bailey and Ollie Watkins up front.
