Steven Gerrard has named his line-up for tonight's showdown with Tottenham with Douglas Luiz and Danny Ings coming in for Morgan Sanson and Leon Bailey respectively. Lucas Digne also starts after his withdrawal last week at Wolves.

There were no real shocks in Gerrard's system as he reverts back to a 4-3-1-2 with Philippe Coutinho behind a front two of Ollie Watkins and Ings, the latter scoring six in his last seven against Spurs.

From front to back for Villa, it's Emi Martinez in goal and a back four of Matty Cash, Ezri Konsa, Tyrone Mings and Digne. John McGinn, Douglas Luiz and Jacob Ramsey make up the midfield three with Coutinho preferred once again to Emi Buendia in the No.10 position.
