Pellegrini wants Isco at Betis

That Malaga team that scared Europe and became the best debutant in the history of the Champions League had two great protagonists, among many others,  Manuel Pellegrini and Isco Alarcon. The Chilean manager gave faith, cohesion and order to a group with a lot of quality and the Andalusian decorated it in the first stage of his career in which he was able to give free rein to his talent.

Maybe next season, the coach and the player will meet again. According to the newspaper 'Marca', the coach has asked the board to sign him. The newspaper even indicates that contacts have already begun, so with only two months to go before the opening of the transfer window, the Spanish club could speed up the process to sign him.

The Spaniard still wants to continue fighting for big goals and is eager to vindicate himself. His years in Real Madrid, at least until now, have not been as brilliant as his potential would suggest. He did start very well when he arrived at La Rosaleda, but in the last few seasons, he has lost importance.

If he accepts Manuel Pellegrini's and Betis' proposal, he is likely to land at the Benito Villamarin as a solid candidate to start. The Chilean knows him well and could help him get back to his best.
