Manchester City fans have been sharing their reaction to Pep Guardiola's starting XI for the clash with Aston Villa this afternoon.

The Blues know that a victory will be enough to secure the title no matter what Liverpool do at home to Wolves. Should the unthinkable happen and City drop points, a Liverpool victory would see them crowned champions.

John Stones and Kyle Walker had been ruled out for the rest of the season with injuries picked up in the Champions League against Real Madrid. However, both men were back in training this week, but it is only Stones who starts against Villa with Walker on the bench and Fernandinho potentially starting at right-back.

Ruben Dias was ruled out of the match by Guardiola in his pre-match press conference and does not feature this afternoon. Pep did hint that there were no other injury concerns heading into the crucial match.

Jack Grealish would have been hoping to haunt his boyhood club at the Etihad following his £100million move to Manchester last summer. However, he has been benched in favour of Phil Foden.

Here's how City fans have reacted to the team news.
