Tottenham star Eric Dier was seen jokingly asking Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul if Mohamed Salah had 'paid' him in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

With Salah starting on the bench for Liverpool in their final game against Wolves, Son Heung-min needed just two goals to top the scoring charts. But in the early stages of Tottenham's visit to Norwich, Krul denied the Korean on several occasions.

Son grabbed his two goals, but Salah scored late on for Liverpool off the bench as the pair shared the award. But before Son thought he'd won it, Dier was seen asking Krul: "What's Salah giving you?"

Both Tottenham and Liverpool entered the final Premier League weekend with a everything at stake, as Spurs looked to finish in the top four, and the Reds were hoping to pip Manchester City to the title. But there was also an individual battle, as Son had crept up on Salah's goal tally.

And with Tottenham and Son being kept out by cruel, Dier hilariously asked Krul what Salah was giving him to keep the Korean from scoring. Spurs wet on to win 5-0, with Son grabbing two goals in the process.

The pair ended up sharing the award, which is credit to Son as he was trailing by a considerable margin at the start of 2022. However, judging by Salah's reaction to receiving the award, he wasn't too fussed about the accolade.

The Egyptian looked gutted as he was handed both the Golden Boot and the Playmaker award, as Anfield became muted as City completed a brilliant comeback. The Liverpool fans couldn't believe it as Aston Villa led 2-0 at City, meaning that only a Liverpool win was required to win the title.

But even before Salah came off the bench to fire Liverpool ahead, City has turned it around. A stunning three-goal haul inside a ruthless eight minute period swung the momentum back over to Manchester, leaving Liverpool dreaming of what might have been.

Salah has won the Golden Boot in three of the five seasons he has spent at Liverpool, and he has followed Harry Kane in leading the league for goals and assists in a single campaign. But that won't matter to him for now, as the focus is now on Real Madrid, in the Champions League final on Saturday.
