Wolves loanee Francisco Trincao looks set to again be on the move this summer after spending the season on a temporary deal at Molineux.

The winger joined Wolves on a loan deal from the Spanish giants last summer, playing a total of 28 times in the Premier League, scoring twice. Wolves do have an option to make the move permanent but a decision is yet to be made as to whether the club will take that up, although it is looking less and less likely.

Trincao has three years remaining on his contract at the Camp Nou, but having returned to the club after the conclusion of the Premier League season he again looks set to move this summer.

According to Record, via Football Espana , the 22-year-old has his eye on a move back to his home country of Portugal with Sporting Club de Portugal. The move would see him link up with former manager Ruben Amorim after the two worked together at Braga.

It is added that Trincao isn’t in Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez’s plans next season, meaning that a move away is likely. Sporting are reportedly keen on a loan move for the winger, but Barcelona are more willing to do a permanent deal.

Trincao is said to be keen on a move back to Portugal and is ‘pushing’ for the transfer to Sporting. The former Wolves man would be signed as a replacement for Pablo Sarabia who has returned to Paris Saint-Germain after a loan spell.

Speaking about Trincao’s future earlier this month, Wolves boss Bruno Lage said that discussions will take place at the end of the season. "We will wait until the end of the season to try and understand everything,” he said .

"He's not our player and has come on loan and we need to try to understand everything in the contract. It's not about outside opinion, it's about our opinion about what he did and how he's grown up during the season.”
