FIFA has revealed the host cities for the 2026 World Cup across three North American nations and the stadiums that will welcome the action.

And one venue caught the eye more than others, the Los Angeles Rams' £4billion home ground, the SoFi Stadium. No stranger to the big occasion, the stadium played host to last season's Super Bowl - between the Cincinnati Bengals and LA Rams.

Bankrolled by Arsenal's owner Stan Kroenke - who also owns the Rams - the project brought the NFL back to the City of Angels. Costing £4billion, the SoFi Stadium is one of the most luxurious stadiums on the planet.

While the massive video boards, that are installed above the pitch are 70,000 square feet. The screens, that loop 360° above the stands 4K definition, and it has 80 million pixels.

While the roof also provides a showcase itself - it projects images into the night sky to provide a warm welcome for passengers landing at the nearby LAX airport.

The stadium has been given the nod ahead of the Rose Bowl - which hosted the 1994 World Cup final.

Also located in LA, Brazil beat Italy on spot-kicks as Roberto Baggio famously fluffed his lines in the 88,000-seater stadia. Amazingly, that wasn't the worst penalty the stadium has seen - that honour falls to Diana Ross.

However, Kroenke's billion-dollar stadium has been handed the nod over the famous venue.
