Wiener Viktoria 0-7 Celtic: Christopher Jullien scores in thumping win a week after Hoops career looked over

CELTIC got their pre-season campaign off to thumping start by obliterating minnows Wiener Viktoria 7-0 in Austria.
Bigger tasks will lie ahead for Ange Postecoglou's side, but his familiar all-action style was there to be seen as the Hoops blew their opponents away with a first-half goal blitz.
Postecoglou sent out a starting XI that largely gave a number of fringe stars a chance to show what they can do.Johnny Kenny bagged a first-half double, with Reo Hatate,
Alexandro Bernabei, signed last week from Argentine side Lanus, was handed his debut in the green and white Hoops starting at left back.
There was also a surprise at the heart of defence, with Christopher Jullien starting just a week after he looked to be on his way to Schalke before that move collapsed.
Joe Hart skippered the side from goal, with Reo Hatate the only other 'regular' starter included in the pre-season curtain-raiser.

James Forrest, James McCarthy, Yosuke Ideguchi and Mikey Johnston were among the Parkhead stars to get a chance to show what they can do.
Another player to get a shot was Johnny Kenny, the 19-year old Irish striker who joined in January from Sligo Rovers.
And it was Kenny who bagged the Hoops' first goal of their campaign.
Johnston eased past his man down the left hand side getting clear and to the byline.

He then sent the ball across goal where Kenny was at the back post to tap in.
Two minutes later, it was 2-0.
Bernabei showed plenty of aggression as he won possession in defence before surging forward.
The new Bhoy then fed the ball to Hatate who played a nice one two before cushioning a delightful low effort into the bottom corner.
It was easy street for Celtic against the Austrian third tier side, and Bernabei went VERY close to scoring.
Another bursting run forward saw him get away from the defence and into the box.
He flashed a powerful low drive across goal that went just wide of the far post.
Celtic were cruising and they didn't have to wait long to score again.
It was 3-0, in fact, inside just 17 minutes.
Johnston this time was the scorer. He showed some excellent skill as he took on a loose bale.
The winger checked inside his man, shifted the ball to his left foot and fired past the 'keeper at the near post.
Hatate then combined well with fellow Japanese international Ideguchi before firing a driven shot just over the bar.
The minnows couldn't handle the Celtic pace, particularly down the left, and Bernabei was heavily involved.
He was the architect of the FOURTH Hoops goal in the opening 25 minutes.
The Argentine's deflected cross found its way to Kenny who slammed in his second of the game.
Number FIVE wasn't far away, and it was Jullien who got in on the act.
Johnston with yet another cross from the left which was met by Kenny.
He was denied his hat trick by the post, but Jullien was there to beat him to the follow up.
Not content with that, the Hoops added a SIXTH before the break.
Wiener Viktoria were beleaguered beyond belief and completely carved open once again.
More neat play saw Ideguchi and Johnston combine, and this time it was James Forrest who was waiting for his tap in.
SIX-nil at half-time.
Unsurprisingly, Postecoglou looked to his bench for the second 45.
Siegrist made his debut, with forgotten man Albian Ajeti and Rocco Vata, son of ex-Celt Rudi, among five players subbed on.
No hat-trick for Kenny, who was taken off along with Hatate, Bernabei, Forrest and Hart.
Ajeti, who didn't see any action last season after the start of December, could do with showing Postecoglou what he's capable of if he's to have a Parkhead future.
Instead, the Swiss striker's rustiness was there to see as he managed to fire the ball into the side netting with the 'keeper grounded and the goal to aim at.
