Brentford sign Aaron Hickey

Right now, the Premier League is the reference competition in world football, at least as far as domestic leagues are concerned. That is why players are increasingly looking forward to moving there.
This is the case of Aaron Hickey. The Scotland international has swapped Bologna for London, one of Europe's financial capitals, to play for Brentford.
The left-back joins the Bees on a four-season contract until June 2026. This Saturday, he has already joined the rest of his teammates in pre-season.
“I am very pleased that we have managed to sign Aaron. What he has already achieved in his career is very impressive. He is only 20 and has played a full season in Scotland as well as almost two seasons in Serie A," said Thomas Frank, his new coach.
Frank continued on his strengths: “We think that Aaron is a player with great potential, who already has an impressive number of games at a good level under his belt. We believe that we have proven we are a good club for players to maximise their potential. We think we can help him be even better".
Brentford, according to English media reports, have paid around 21.2 million euros to Bologna for Aaron Hickey, which is the most expensive transfer in the history of the British club.
