I used to mock Scottish football due to Rangers’ dominance, says Michael Ballack as he makes Bayern Munich comparison

MICHAEL BALLACK reckons German football should introduce title play-offs to stop Bayern Munich from winning every Bundesliga ... because he remembers Rangers dominating Scottish football.
The Bavarian giants are going for their 11th Bundesliga title in a row after they romped to another championship last season by eight points from Borussia Dortmund.
Former Bayern Munich and Chelsea midfielder and Germany captain Ballack is concerned that football in his homeland has now turned into Scottish football in the 1990s.
And he reckons they should introduce American-style title play-offs to make German football competitive again.
He pointed out: "During my playing days, we used to criticise Scottish football because Rangers won 11 titles out of 12. We all said we would never allow that kind of situation in Germany.
"But that's exactly what we have now.

"Who is going to take the financial risk, even if it creates pressure? I don't see any team doing that.
"Play-off games create more excitement, we see that in America. It would be helpful to think about it and it is also in the interest of the fans."

Meanwhile, incoming Rangers target Malik Tillman is currently undergoing a medical ahead of a pending loan move to Ibrox with Rangers having the option to buy the USA midfielder despite Bayern retaining a buy-back clause.
Tillman has emerged to be a key target for Giovanni Van Bronkchorst after the departure of Joe Aribo to Southampton earlier this month.
And the deal could be done TODAY - allowing the star to join up with the squad this weekend ahead of the Ibrox side's pre-season friendly against Championship side Blackpool.
20-year-old Tillman was born in Germany but chose to represent the USA, making his debut against Morocco earlier this year.
