Arsenal legend Jens Lehmann 'took chainsaw' to neighbour's garage in row over view
Jens Lehmann is said to have taken drastic action in a row with his neighbour over a spoiled view of the countryside by 'taking a chainsaw' to their garage while trying to evade cameras
Jens Lehmann is said to have taken a chainsaw to a neighbour's garage in a row over a spoiled view of Lake Starnberg in a bizarre incident involving the former Arsenal icon.
German outlet BILD have reported details of the alleged outburst and elaborated by saying that the 52-year-old 'severed the roof beams' of the outbuilding and tried to switch off a surveillance camera in a bid to go unnoticed.
It is added that the attempt to go undetected was unsuccessful as a live transmission was sent to the owner of the property - with Lehmann said to be in a 'frenzy of rage'.

Local police are said to have been called to Lehmann's property with an investigation now underway after the culmination of a 'rocky relationship' between the bordering lodgers.
Lehmann, who made 61 appearances for his country and had two spells in north London, is said to have claimed that the new garage had been built on his land - reporting them for 'property damage and coercion'.
The eccentric former stopper has owned the property for 15 years following an initial 2007 purchase for a fee of £4.2million while he was in the Premier League.

Back in 2021, Lehmann was sacked by Hertha Berlin after calling Dennis Aogo a "token black guy".
Aogo, who works as a pundit for Sky Germany after retiring as a player last summer, posted a screenshot of the message on Instagram.
Lehmann then took to Twitter to apologise, telling BILD: "I’ve already phoned Dennis and asked him for forgiveness if what I said came over as disrespectful.
"It was not meant that way at all, it was meant positively.
"Because he is very knowledgeable and strong in his appearances as a Sky expert. And so he has increased the ratings. That's what I wanted to say, but I expressed it badly."
Lehmann was then relieved of his duties at Hertha, where he had been working as a member of their supervisory board.
