JOHN HARTSON is well-known across Glasgow for his Celtic connections.
The Welshman spent five seasons at Parkhead between 2001 and 2006 and he won his first piece of major silverware at the club.
He joined from Premier League side Coventry after spells with Arsenal, West Ham, Tuton Town and Wimbledon.
Hartson went on to win six trophies during his time in Glasgow and was named PFA Scotland Players’ Player of the Year and SFWA Footballer of the Year in 2005.
Celtic are the side who he spent most time with during his career and still stays very close to the action as he is a regular pundit on Celtic TV during matchdays, among other networks.
But despite his love for Ange Postecoglou‘s team, Clyde One host Ewen Cameron has hit out at the 47-year-old, claiming he isn’t a real Hoops fan.

And he’s blasted Hartson for his punditry skills, saying he’s the WORST in Scotland.
Speaking about the former Celtic target man on his new show, The Big Scottish Football Podcast, he said: “John Hartson, right, who was at Celtic for five minutes.
“When you look at his entire career he was at Celtic for five minutes.
“He comes across as if he’s a bigger Celtic fan than Mark Wilson. This is a guy who played at Luton.

“Do you think his dream when he was there was Celtic.
“Of course it wasn’t. He didn’t give two hoots for Celtic, didn’t care about Celtic.
“When he was at Arsenal, did he care about Celtic? No he didn’t..
“When he was kicking the face of… Berkovic at West Ham, was he thinking of Celtic? He wasn’t..
“Yet here he is as a football pundit in Scotland, blinkered and biased.
“How does that happen?
“You’re allowed to be all of that if you’re a Celtic fan.
“If you’re a Celtic man, if you grew up as a Celtic fan.
“He didn’t, he’s one of the worst football pundits in Scottish football.”
SunSport has contacted Hartson for a right to reply to Cameron’s comments, but he has yet to respond.
