Brighton deny Cucurella sale

With numerous reports suggesting Marc Cucurella has joined Chelsea, Brighton have released a statement denying any sale.

Cucurella, a step away from Chelsea

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has tweeted that a deal is complete between Chelsea and Brighton for Marc Cucurella in exchange for more than £50m. With personal terms already agreed, he will sign a contract until 2028 and there is no way he will join Manchester City. Consequently, Levi Colwill is set to join Brighton.

Mariano's agent rejects an offer from Celta Vigo

According to Jose Padilla, a journalist with links to Real Madrid, Mariano's agent has reportedly rejected an offer from Celta Vigo.

Alex Telles travels to Sevilla

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has announced that Alex Telles will travel to Sevilla and will undergo most of his medical tests tomorrow (Thursday). Sevilla will pay 2 million euros towards Telles' wages, with the player coming on loan without an option to buy from Manchester United for this season.

According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have met with the Slovenian player's agent in the past week. Manchester United have also had more than one direct meeting, as have another unnamed club.

Juventus deny contact with Memphis Depay

After Mertens' rejection, several media outlets reported that Juventus were interested in signing Memphis Depay, but TuttoMercatoWeb reports that the Vecchia Signora have denied contact with the Dutchman.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has announced that Kasper Schmeichel has passed his medical with Nice and has signed with the French club until June 2025.

According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Manchester City are interested in signing Stuttgart left-back Borna Sosa as Marc Cucurella would prefer to sign for Chelsea.

According to transfer journalist Ekrem Konur, Valencia are interested in signing English defender Japhet Tanganga, currently at Tottenham. They join AC Milan and Roma who are interested in the centre-back.

Napoli have reached an agreement with Giacomo Raspadori, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, and only need to convince Sassuolo to lower the price because the Neapolitans don't want to pay the e30 million euro asking price.

Sky Sports reports that the Dane is a target for Brentford, with the Bees reportedly willing to pay 20 million euros to Sampdoria for the 22-year-old midfielder.

Hadrien Grénier, a journalist who has links with PSG, explains that Abdou Diallo is one of AC Milan's priorities for the defence, although the Italian club has not yet made an offer to PSG.

Matthew Hoppe will not wear the RCD Mallorca shirt for the 2022-23 season. The club seems to have offers on the table from the Premier League for the services of Hoppe. However, Mallorca don't seem to be interested in a potential sale. Both Middlesbrough and Sunderland have shown interest in him. Middlesbrough have approached the Balearic club with around 3 million euros, while Sunderland, who have yet to make a firm offer, also want to bid for him, as Football League World explains.

Sport are reporting that Samuel Umtiti could finally leave the Camp Nou this summer, with Olympiacos being his most likely destination.

Oscar Mingueza is also set for Celta, while Riqui Puig is likely to move to MLS.

PSG in for Bernardo Silva

Barcelona had been keen on Bernardo Silva, but PSG are now firmly in the race to sign the Manchester City star.

Journalist Santi Aouna says that the French giants are interested in his signing, but it should be noted that Barcelona may be in a position to move for the player should they offload Frenkie de Jong.

Inigo Martinez is Barcelona's next transfer priority, and Athletic Club's hand may be forced.

The player himself has an 80m euro release clause in his contract, but is into the final year of his deal. He is thought to be keen on the move, as he sees it as his last chance to join an elite club.

Ex-Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo could return to Spain with Valencia, who have reportedly contacted Juventus about his signing.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Gennaro Gattuso and the player have spoken, and things went well. The clubs are also in talks.

Sevilla appear to be set to sign Manchester United full-back Alex Telles on loan. Fabrizio Romano says there will be no purchase option.

RB Leipzig's Ademola Lookman is set to sign for Serie A side Atalanta for around 15m euros.

He is expected to undergo his medical today, but has previously been seen training in Atalanta gear.

PSG are on the verge of signing Renato Sanches from Lille, according to L'Equipe, with the Portuguese choosing the Ligue 1 side over Italian champions AC Milan.

He will join for around 15m euros.

Bernd Leno has moved across London from Arsenal to Fulham on a deal worth an initial 3m euros, with an additional 5m euros in variables possibly taking the total fee to 8m euros.
