Rangers star Ryan Jack and Ibrox KITMAN brutally troll PSV fans after Champions League glory night

PSV fans did their best to unsettle Rangers in the build-up to last night's Champions League encounter.

Ultimately, their attempts failed as the Light Blues enjoyed another sensational European night to secure their place at the top table of continental football.

Gers stars were given a rather rude awakening overnight as PSV ultras let off fireworks outside the team's hotel - TWICE.

Pyrotechnics lit the sky outside the hotel at both 2am and 5am.

It followed similar scenes in Glasgow a week ago when a pair of Gers fans employed similar tactics to unsettle PSV's stars overnight.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his squad were also disrupted as they attempted to make their way to the Philips Stadion.

One of the two team buses carrying the players had to be rerouted as PSV fans mobbed the travelling vehicles.

Van Bronckhorst was fuming pre-match as he revealed they ended up arriving 20 minutes late due to scenes he described as "the worst I've seen."

In the end, however, none of that worked.

Antonio Colak's second half strike secured the Light Blues a stunning 1-0 victory in Eindhoven, sending them through to the promised land of the Champions League group stage 3-2 on aggregate.

The win sends the Ibrox club back among European football's elite for the first time since 2010 and they'll be in the hat for tonight's much anticipated draw.

The Rangers squad wildly celebrated their latest Euro success in the dressing room after the game, with van Bronckhorst and James Tavernier leading a noisy rendition of "Sweet Caroline."

After everything had died down, one Gers star certainly hadn't forgotten about the fans' antics the night before!

Taking to Instagram, midfielder Ryan Jack posted an image of the fireworks display.

He cheekily captioned it: "Can't wait for tonight's display."

Jack wasn't the only member of the Gers party to fire a shot at PSV fans.

Former Hamilton and Morton star Jim McAlister is the Light Blues kitman, and he also aimed a dig at the PSV supporters.

In a similar vein to Jack, he posted a short clip of the fireworks, captioned: "Hopefully the same wake up call tonight."

Even the club's masseuse Paul Shields couldn't resist a barb!

He posted: "To think some poor Dutch guy spent a fortune on all those fireworks last night," followed by a laughing emoji.
