Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder and Everton target Harry Winks wants to secure a transfer to another Premier League club, as he told Sky Sports News.
The Sky reporter shared that there is interest in Winks from abroad, especially from Italian side Sampdoria, but he wants to remain in England – Frank Lampard’s Everton have been previously shown interest in the midfielder.
Antonio Conte has made his intentions to Winks pretty clear this summer – he wasn’t part of the club’s pre-season tour of Korea and he is currently training away from the senior players.

The 26-year-old, who was once compared to Steven Gerrard by his former teammate Moussa Sissoko and dubbed ‘quality’, has fallen off over the years and he needs to refresh his career.
One way to do that is to earn regular minutes away from his boyhood club, as transfer expert Sheth shared his thoughts on Winks’ future and how he should get his move before next week’s deadline.
“Tottenham Hotspur, we told you that four of their players were training away from the first team squad,” said Sheth. “Ndombele got his move to Napoli. Lo Celso got his move to Villareal. And Harry Winks is interesting Sampdoria.
“But we believe that he would prefer a Premier League move. Reguilon is wanted by Nottingham Forest. So, potentially, Tottenham could find themselves in a position that the four players they did want to release could be leaving the club.”

HARRY WINKS NEEDS A RESTART
Winks is at a critical stage of his career where if he continues to decline, then he might not even be a Premier League player in a few years time.
At one stage, he was a regular for Mauricio Pochettino in north London and an England international under Gareth Southgate.
But both of those have gone away from the midfield technician, who probably should have left Tottenham over a year ago because his form and game time has stagnated for a while.
Perhaps moving to a team that prefers to play possession-based football would suit Winks and he should re-think a possible transfer to Everton because would Frank Lampard’s style suit him?
Added with that, there is a lot of pressure at Goodison Park and they aren’t exactly riding a wave, as Dele Alli proved, it’s not easy to turn things around at that pressure-cooker of a club.
