Rangers star Glen Kamara wanted for £10m Deadline Day transfer to Ligue 1 side Nice

NICE hope to complete a £10million deadline day move for Glen Kamara.
The big-spending Ligue 1 outfit are desperate to land the Rangers star before the transfer window closes on Thursday night.
SunSport understands Finnish midfielder Kamara’s representatives were last night trying to thrash out a deal.
Nice, owned by English multi-billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, have been on a huge spending spree this summer in a bid to reach the Champions League.
Ratcliffe has already splashed out £20m on Monaco winger Sofiane Diop and recruited Kasper Schmeichel, Nicolas Pepe and former Gers loanee Aaron Ramsey.
The Ineos supremo now wants to snap up Ramsey’s former Ibrox midfield partner, Kamara.

Rangers don’t want to lose the 26-year-old, who has not been a regular starter under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
But they will make a significant profit on the bargain £50,000 they paid to Dundee for him in January 2019 if he does go.
Kamara, who only signed a new four-year contract 12 months ago, has been a target for a number of European clubs in the past four windows.
Meanwhile, Rangers defender Niko Katic has completed a permanent move to FC Zurich.

The Croatian has been frozen out at Ibrox and has now moved for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year old was an established first team regular under Steven Gerrard for the Light Blues having joined from Croatian club Slaven Belupo in the summer transfer window in 2018.
But disaster struck for him in pre-season two years ago when he suffered a devastating cruciate ligament injury.
It would ultimately rule him out for the rest of the season.
Upon his return, he was sent on loan to Hajduk Split in his homeland where he spent last season before coming back to Glasgow this summer.
Despite featuring in pre-season under Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Katic hasn't featured in a single starting XI since the competitive action returned.
Midfielder Ryan Jack partnered youngster Leon King at the heart of the Gers defence in last night's cup victory over Queen of the South with Katic nowhere to be seen, with his lack of Ibrox future seemingly clear.
His last competitive match for the Gers came all the way back in March 2020 when he appeared as a late substitute in a 1-0 away win over Ross County.
