Pedro Caixinha sacked AGAIN as ex-Rangers boss fired after fewer than six months in job
FORMER Rangers flop manager Pedro Caixinha has been fired again, as manager of Atletico Talleres after less than six months in the job.
Caixinha became the first ever Portuguese coach to be a manager in Argentina in March earlier this year, but his time in South America was a disaster after just three wins in 16 league games and his side sitting in 24th out of 28 in the Primera Division.
It's the fourth time he's been sacked after leaving Rangers - he had a disastrous seven-month spell in charge at Ibrox in 2017 before he was axed.
Caixinha initially returned to Mexico to manage Cruz Azul a few months after he left Rangers and after the sack there, he moved on to Saudi Arabia at Al-Shabab before returning to his first club in Mexico, Santos Laguna. He was fired from them all.
His time in Argentina got off to a bizarre start when he was ridiculed for wearing the team strip at his introductory press conferences and claimed he was now their biggest fan.
And despite reaching the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores, the club's poor league form persuaded its board to act.

A statement from Atletico Talleres said: "Pedro and his entire team leave through the front door of our institution after having managed to place Talleres among the best eight teams on the continent.
"We especially thank Pedro and his colleagues for their professional commitment and human qualities."
Meanwhile, former Ger Nathan Patterson has been praised by boss Frank Lampard for showing "character" at Everton.
The Toffees boss has been delighted with the January signing's start to the new season.

After the 20-year-old Scotland full-back's stand out performance in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool, Lampard singled him out for positive feedback.
He said: “What a start to the season – he was injured when he was about to make his debut last year, so it has been hard.

“But he has shown character. People say he’s a really good offensive full back, but his defensive game has been excellent.
“It is hard on the full backs when we switched to a back four, because there are a lot more questions asked. But he has done great, and he’s a young player so he’s only going to get better.”
