Dusan Tadic reveals the special Rangers plan Ajax conjured up to leave Gio reeling
The Amsterdam club's Serbian skipper admitted they had it pre-planned before they entered the pitch.
Ajax standout Dusan Tadic has told Rangers they conjured up the perfect plan pre-match before warning their Champions League rivals they can play even BETTER.
The Ibrox men slumped to a chastening 4-0 trouncing in their return to the group stage and were second best all over the pitch. And the Amsterdam club's Serbian skipper admitted they had it pre-planned about the way to target Giovanni van Bronckhorst 's Rangers side.
The Ajax hero said: "We put a lot of pressure on our opponent and we had discussed doing that before the game. The team spirit was good and everyone was committed to each other. We played a lot of good football. We made it a great evening for our fans and this was a strong message we sent out. In the last few games, I don't think I have played particularly well and I have been in a new position. But sometimes, you have to do what's important for the team. We can play better though and I think this is only the beginning for us."
