Legendary Italian striker Filippo Inzaghi has named four reasons why Erling Haaland has got off to a great start at Manchester City.
Having failed to find the back of the net in the Community Shield against Liverpool, critics were questioning whether Haaland could adapt to the Premier League. However, those murmurs have been silenced dramatically in the seven matches since in the Premier League and Champions League.
Haaland has managed to notch 12 goals during that time period including hat-tricks against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest as well as a brace on his City Champions League debut vs Sevilla. Now, all the talk is about how many goals the 22-year-old can rack up this season.

Following his most recent performance, BT Sport pundit Robbie Savage claimed Haaland could reach the 50-goal tally. Inzaghi has now analysed the Norwegian's start to English football and believes there are four reasons behind his success.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the 49-year-old who currently manages Serie B side Reggina, explained: "The desire with which he attacks the goal, and if he scores, he attacks even more to score again. I also really like his ability to lose his marker.
"It’s no coincidence that he has scored so many goals in the six-yard box with Manchester City during the start of the season. We would be wrong to call those goals easy: maybe the final executions are simple, but behind there is a great job in training.
"Of course, there’s also Guardiola’s ability to enhance the characteristics of his players. Haaland is difficult to mark because if you are on him, he moves you with his body and while you try to get back into position, he’s already gone.
"And if you’re not on him, you risk only finding him when he’s celebrating. He’s very attentive to how the move unfolds, he knows he’s the focal point and focuses on that aspect with great application."
Haaland will now be hoping to grab some more goals in City next game at home to Tottenham Hotspur before he faces his old club Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League the following Wednesday.
