The agent of Beto has revealed that there is plenty of Premier League interest in the Udinese forward amid transfer links to Everton.

According to a recent report by Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blues are said to be big fans of Beto, who despite only starting just three league games this term, has still managed to bag five goals.

Newcastle United and West Ham United have also been linked with a move for the Portuguese striker and according to his agent, Gabriele La Manna, speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Beto is once again attracting interest from the Premier League.

La Manna said: “Now, the player is showing all his worth. I think he is one of the most important players in our league. (Beto) is coveted by many teams, especially in the Premier League.”

While speaking to the Italian Football Podcast recently, former Everton star Gerard Deulofeu was full of praise for his Udinese team-mate.

He said: “You can’t compare Beto to Lukaku (the Chelsea forward currently on loan with Inter Milan) who Deulofeu played with at Everton. They are two different players. I really like Beto; his mentality to push on the pitch, to improve every single game. I like these types of players.

“We speak a lot because we usually play very close on the pitch. He is a really good guy. I think we will do great things together and score a lot of goals together.”

Deulofeu has been an ever-present this season for Udinese, who sit just one point off the top of Serie A, with Beto the joint-second top-scorer in the league.
