STEVEN BENDA 8

Didn't have a meaningful save to make in the first-half and mixed things up well in possession, to his credit. Helpless with Jack Clarke's goal but solid otherwise.

NATHAN WOOD 8

The defender was typically confident and composed in possession while being solid defensively as Sunderland struggled to threaten. Subbed.

BEN CABANGO 8

Virtually flawless in possession and broke Sunderland moves down time and time again. Another magnificent shift from the Welshman.

HARRY DARLING 8

On his first start in six matches, the summer signing carried the ball up the pitch so well and got the goal - the defender's second of the season - his efforts deserved on the stroke of half-time. A couple of nervy moments in the second-half but made some very important blocks and clearances.

JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE 7

Starting for the first time since dislocating his shoulder in August, the right wing-back was solid enough without really shining. Work-rate was so good though. No doubt he'll improve with more minutes under his belt.

JAY FULTON 8 - Star Man

Carried a threat when getting into advanced positions and was his usual robust self defensively. Superb.

MATT GRIMES 8

Put his body on the line when needed and continued where he left off against Watford as far as matters in possession were concerned. Another really good showing from the captain.

RYAN MANNING 8

The Irishman was a constant menace on the left wing and played a huge part in Swansea's opener. Good delivery in the build-up to Darling's goal too. In the form of his life right now.

LUKE CUNDLE 7

The Wolves loanee got into so many dangerous areas and was slick in possession. Quieter in the second-half and was withdrawn.

OLLIE COOPER 8

Brought energy to the team once again and drilled home his first goal of the season early on to put Swansea ahead. His work-rate was so good, with his tackling statistics perfectly summing up his endeavour and desire to help the team. Quieter after a very bright start and subbed in the second-half.

JOEL PIROE 7

The Dutchman was lively in the opening stages as Swansea started confidently but was on the fringes for long periods after that. So close with a header in the second-half.
