Ashley Williams video footage shows aftermath of melee at son's football match

The incident is being investigated by the local FA, with the former Wales, Swansea City and Everton star facing a charge

Video footage has emerged showing the aftermath of a melee involving former Wales captain Ashley Williams at his son's football match.

The former Swansea City and Everton star has been charged with improper conduct, including violent or threatening behaviour, by the Manchester County FA following an alleged incident believed to have happened during an under-12s game in the East Manchester Junior Football League between Corinthians and his son's side TSC.

The alleged altercation between Williams and another adult is said to have been sparked following a clash between players on the pitch. The match, which took place last month, was subsequently abandoned, according to reports.
