Manchester United and Chelsea flop Radamel Falcao returned to haunt another of his former sides in Atletico Madrid - after fans honoured him with a plaque outside the staidum
Radamel Falcao returned to haunt Atletico Madrid with an injury-time penalty that secured a point for Rayo Vallecano at the Metropolitano Stadium.
The 36-year-old veteran, who managed five goals across 36 Premier League appearances for Manchester United and Chelsea combined, slotted home to secure a point in La Liga.
Falcao cancelled out Alvaro Morata's earlier opener after Jose Maria Gimenez was adjudged to have handled in the box following a VAR check as the hosts looked to go three points from league leaders Real Madrid.

Having slotted the spot-kick past Ivo Grbic with ease, Falcao wrote after the game: "Great performance from the whole team. We all work towards a positive outcome. Thank God who allowed me to score."
The Colombia centurion, who joined Rayo from Galatasaray last year, scored 70 goals across his 91 appearances for Atletico between 2011 and 2013 before joining Monaco.
Having helped the club to Copa del Rey, Europa League and UEFA Super Cup glory, fans honours him with a plaque outside the stadium back in 2018.

Falcao had two loan spells in the Premier League during his five years at Monaco, a period in which he scored 83 goals across 140 games in France.
Having scored 20 times for Galatasaray, Falcao has managed eight across 35 appearances for his current side as his career winds down.
Sadly for Falcao, he will not be playing at the World Cup later this year after Colombia failed to qualify having reached the knockout stages of the past two tournaments.
Earlier this year, Falcao said of his time working under Louis van Gaal: "He’s someone who says things in the face. That’s pretty positive.
"But he is very ingrained with his philosophy, and sometimes it’s a bit weird. I am very proud, however, to have worked with him."
While saying of Jose Mourinho: "I arrived in his third year at Chelsea when everything went wrong. I only spent four months with him. I didn’t see the real Mourinho."
