Melville also highlighted the sale on her social media pages.

A sales brochure for the detached property states: "Choose a higher level of luxury, this grand and imposing four bedroom detached villa is situated in a coveted area of Bothwell, it offers you multiple reception rooms, raised double balcony at rear, ample car parking, capacious rear garden and a bespoke and stunning cinema room complete with bar.

"Deceptively spacious the accommodation spans over two levels, excluding the cinema room, to provide wonderfully light open plan spaces - full height windows, all four bedrooms have built in storage, main bedroom with access to a double and raised balcony and a 'Romeo and Juliet' balcony in its en-suite.

"The aforementioned converted garage offers you a luxurious cinema room complete with its own bar.

"Externally you will enjoy landscaped gardens at the rear, enclosed for your privacy and enjoyment, ample car parking, modern decking and the added convenience of astroturf."

It also highlights 'on trend' shops and restaurants available in Bothwell along with 'well regarded' schools and walks along the banks of the River Clyde.

Griffiths left Celtic in January after scoring 123 goals in 261 appearances for the Glasgow side.

The dad-of-five had a spell at Australian club Mandurah City and was recently training with Scottish Premiership side Livingston.

The house has been put on the market by Property Angels Estate Agents, Bothwell.
