Manchester United fans have been taunting Manchester City supporters on social media after former Reds midfielder Andreas Pereira netted a penalty to equalise in Fulham’s game against the champions.

Joao Cancelo was given a red card for knocking over Harry Wilson when through on goal, allowing Pereira to step up and slot the ball home from the spot. Not long earlier, the Brazilian was shown a yellow card for a heavy challenge on Rodri when many felt he should have seen red.

Pereira left United for Fulham in the summer after a loan spell with Flamengo. The 26-year-old played 75 times for the Reds, although he had not played for them for more than two years by the time he left for Craven Cottage.
