Ex-Rangers star Kris Boyd ‘doesn’t know how much longer van Bronckhorst can go on’ after shock St Johnstone defeat

FORMER Rangers hero Kris Boyd has admitted that he fears for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's job.
The Dutchman has come under fire after the Gers were sunk by St Johnstone earlier today.
St Johnstone earned a shock win over Rangers at McDiarmid Park.
Goals from James Brown and Nicky Clark ensure the three points for the Saints as Rangers now sit seven points adrift in the Scottish Premiership.
And SunSport columnist Kris Boyd has admitted that he doesn't know how much time he has left as the Ibrox boss.
Speaking to Sky Sports following the game, he said: "It has been the story of the season. Tom Lawrence has been out, Roofe has been out for a long time and so has Hagi.

"So we will hear about injuries, and yeah there has been a lot of them.
"But they are all defensive, I don't think any of them coming back will help out the forward line.
"Lawrence is a miss, but there has been a lack of creativity and it has not worked out.
"The money that was spent at the summer transfer window, a lot of the signings haven't worked - there is going to be a big overhaul needed.

"The question is will Giovanni van Bronckhorst and everyone else there at Rangers going to be there to see it out? I don't know."
Host of the programme Eilidh Barbour then quizzed him on the pressure that the Light Blues manager now faces, he admitted he was unsure.
He added: "Whenever it comes to that stage it is always the manager that goes.
"The club always fins a way if they want to change the manager.
"The problem that Gio finds himself in right now is that even when Rangers were winning, or scraping by that everything was still a grind.
"There is frustration from the fans. They've dropped points at home to Livingston and they were booed off the pitch.
"Against Dundee they were booed off at half time and at full time -and now they have dropped more points here at McDiarmid.

"The frustration is already there off the back of the European results. I don't know how much longer he can go on.
"Once the fans start voicing their opinions, it's very difficult to turn."
