Jose Enrique is reacting on Twitter to Conor McGregor claiming that he’s genuinely interested in buying Liverpool.
Earlier this week, Fenway Sports Group intimated that they would be open to offers for selling the Premier League powerhouse.
The American-based consortium have owned Liverpool since 2010.
On Tuesday, the Irish MMA fighter revealed on Twitter that he has already requested information about buying the Reds, as covered by HITC Sport.
And here’s how former Liverpool left-back Jose Enrique reacted on Twitter:

How much is Conor McGregor worth?
Earlier in 2022, McGregor hinted that his net worth was around £200 million [The Mirror].
And yet, in October, the 34-year-old claimed on Twitter that he’s been a billionaire for years.
Problem is, Forbes valued Liverpool to be worth around £4 billion back in May and therefore, McGregor will rapidly find himself priced out of a solo investment on the Anfield outfit.
It’s worth pointing out that his tweets must be taken with a pinch of salt, having also expressed an interest in buying Manchester United once upon a time.
It remains to be seen exactly how wealthy McGregor is, but it does seem extremely unlikely that he’ll be able to spearhead solo investment on any elite Premier League outfit for quite a while yet.
